“Wow, have just been to Grand Cru tonight with my husband, quite possibly one of the nicest meals I've ever had. Seriously high quality food, cooked to perfection, and presented perfectly! Sharon and her team give fantastic service, you dont feel rushed in anyway, giving you time to absorb each beautiful course before the next. Oh and did i mention the fabulous cocktail? Simply divine! This place is a little Gem! Thank you Grand Cru... I will be back!”

“Wanted to go here for ages. It's beautifully decorated with chandeliers and subtle mood lighting . We were offered a chance to get drinks at the bar or take out seats, which we did, and the staff were so lovely. They came with water and menus quickly and gave us the right amount of time to look at the menus. We ordered some wine which was lovely and the food order was taken soon after. The food was delicious, and the starter was huge. I had scallops in a bisque, and the 2 types of bread that came were warm and really spongy and fresh. The main course was cooked perfectly!! And we were too full for pud this time. No starter next time or something smaller!! This was a lovely evening, and we will deffo go back”

We chose the Taster Menu with the wine flight, and every course was outstanding. It’s a refreshing change from the overpriced, lacklustre offerings found in many other places. This unpretentious gem is, without question, the best restaurant we've visited in the UK—and it easily rivals some of the best we've experienced around the world. The venue itself is stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed each course, neither rushed nor delayed. Now, the food: from the very first taste of the amuse-bouche, it was clear the chef is truly world-class. Each dish that followed only deepened our admiration, and the wine pairings were flawless. I genuinely couldn’t find a single fault. Every penny we spent felt entirely justified given the creativity, precision, and flavour in each course. We often leave restaurants thinking we could have done better ourselves at home—but here, we had to admit we’re not in the same league. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.”

Each course was delivered at exactly the right pace, introduced as it arrived, and the staff were very attentive. Not cheap, but well worth it. Great for a special occasion.”
